Database Consultant
We are looking for talented and enthusiastic technical consultants who want to work at the intersection of databases and application implementation and roll-out.
Your job
- Work directly with our clients to help implement, manage and maintain our software products
- Gather business requirements together with solution consultants and application developers
- Translate requirements into database model design and implementation
- Integrate with existing systems, data brokers and applications
- Build the database backbone of our applications with an emphasis on performance and analysis of numeric data
- Work and have fun with an international team of professionals delivering complex implementations for multinational companies on five continents
Required skills
- BS in Computer Science or similar
- Five to ten years working experience with SQL Server, SSIS, T-SQL
- Strong customer facing skills
- Available to travel (50%), primarily in the United States and occasionally in Europe
- Good command of the English language (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication skills
Optional skills
- Microsoft certifications MCTIP/MCTS Database Developer or similar.
- Additional database skill s: Oracle, P/SQL, Analysis Services, OLAP, MDX
- Experience with integrating enterprise systems like SAP, Oracle, Lawson
- Software Development: Java, .NET
- Very large database (VLDB) optimization
- Presentation of numerical data
