These summits brings the leaders and innovators from the industry together for a summit to share insights on Sales & Operations Planning and
Integrated Business Planning. Rijk Zwaan, client of Outperform presented at both events. The synopsis of the presentation:
Rijk Zwaan sells almost 1000 vegetable seed varieties in 100 countries across the globe.
Over the last five years Rijk Zwaan and Outperform developed the Sales and Operations Planning process and system, based on de-centralized
responsibility for demand forecasting and centralized supply planning.
By June this year the seed production planning process will be included and demand from all sales countries will drive the growing activities
in the 27 seed production countries. The presentation explained how this sophistication was introduced into an otherwise very down to earth business culture.
