The webinar, which was attended by clients in Europe, USA and South Africa; started with a keynote from Uneco de Meester, the Managing Director of Outperform. He gave an overview of the major projects delivered in the past year and how they contributed to the overall innovation and expansion of the Outperform offering. The implementation successes allowed us to excel at the industry conferences for S&OP, especially with the contributions from Rijk Zwaan and South African Breweries.
He briefly covered a new initiative with a global ERP vendor which has a great potential to accelerate our presence in the market for a rapidly deployable S&OP solution. With the inclusion of scheduling, developed in close collaboration with Blue Diamond Growers, Outperform Planning now covers the entire Sales & Operations Planning business process, from Demand Planning, to Supply Planning to detailed Scheduling. Our support for homeless data and deep integration is undiluted.
After Uneco's keynote the floor was open to Jurriaan van der Lingen, Software Development Director, to give a live demonstration of the innovations in optimization, scheduling, integration with ERP and usability and broaden everyone's perspective on the capabilities of Outperform Planning.
Jim McCarthy from Pearson VUE gave his perspective as a customer of Outperform in a presentation titled "Forecasting for a Non-Traditional Business".
